Status Description
- The client had an existing inadequate WiFi solution.
- There was one main Microtik router.
- Over 40 Linksys E1200 Wireless-N Routers has been installed.
- Each Linksys was provided with its SSID.
- Existing APs were often "blocked" and had to be reset directly on a hardware.
- When more than 10 clients were connected there was a high load.
- When exiting out of the range of the selected SSID, the user had to be connected to the new SSID.
- There was no WiFi coverage of the outdoor pools, Wellness Center and restaurants.
Client’s Conditions
- The basic and main requirement is to provide stable and good WiFi in the conference area of the hotel as well as in the rooms.
- Easier administration of the devices.
- It is also required to completely separate the business network used by employees and the guest network.
- Covering restaurants, Wellness and outdoor pools with WiFi.
Practical Solution
- Draytek 2960 is placed in the communication cabinet and DHCP pool is set for 4096 IPs.
- Placing a 3X Ruckus ZoneFlex R500 per floor and 3 more in the conference area.
- Boot and adjust Unleashed environment.
- Separation of 2 networks by one cable.
- Placing one Xclaim Xi-3 in a restaurant.
- Placing one Xclaim Xi-3 in the Wellness Center.
- Connecting the pool and communication cabinet via fiber optic and connecting directly to one of the ports on the Vigor 2960.
- Putting up 2X Xclaim Xo-1 to cover outdoor pools.
